Application Process
Stage 1: Register Interest
Request ‘Expression of Interest’ documentation
Stage 2: The Submission
The only additional items required other than your existing educational documentation are: a completed template mapping course modules to the CSD Genetic Matrix, a short supporting statement setting out the aims of the course In both instances a CEP template will be provided.
Stage 3: The Review
A CEP panel with academic and specific design discipline industry expertise will consider the material submitted. As a result the application will either be: referred for a visit (Stage 4) additional information may be requested the application rejected with clear guidance as to why
Stage 4: The Visit
The CEP panel will visit the course to discuss the application with staff and students and review resources and facilities. As a result the outcome will either be: there is a request for clarification of specific issues as raised by panel members at the visit or the application progresses to Stage 5.
Stage 5: The Award
An offer to licence the course for a given period will be made subject to any Conditions and/or Recommendation agreed. A timescale for on-going review will be set and visits planned to meet and support tutors and provide seminars to students.
