Now retired. Specialised in Architectural Presentation. Was a member of Sir Denys Lasdun’s original design team on the National Theatre, London, 1964-1968 (now one of only two surviving, of that team)! 1969 – 1973 Department of Architectural Planning, London Borough Southwark. London. Formed Robert Kirkman and Associates 1973 – 2004. Worked on various architectural projects: models for Foster Associates’ Stansted Airport, Sir Terry Farrell’s Charing Cross Station. Others included: Arup Associates, SOM Skidmore Owings and Merrill, Neave Brown, David Porter Architects, ABK Ahrends Burton Koralek, BDP Building Design Partnership. To name just a very few. Now retired he pursues his passion: painting and sculpture, occasionally giving an illustrated talk about his work.
