CSD CEP Design Student Prize profiles: Demira Gorasia Assoc.CSD, Interior Architecture and Design

Each year, we honour graduating CSD CEP student designers worldwide through both in-person and online award ceremonies.

The CSD CEP Student Prize is awarded yearly to up to three design students from each CSD Accredited course, who have demonstrated great work throughout their course, recognising their talents and constant hard work.

As part of our celebrations, we’re thrilled to feature Demira Gorasia Assoc.CSD, a talented CSD CEP Student Prize winner from Nottingham Trent University Join us as we explore her distinctive design philosophy and reveal her exciting plans for the future.

Tell us a little about your work:

The work I completed during my final year of university encompasses sketches, models, CAD drawings, and post-rendering. This comprehensive

collection of design work illustrates the project’s evolution and how speculative and conceptual ideas were refined and integrated. It demonstrates my ability to transform initial concepts into detailed, tangible outcomes, showcasing both my creative process and technical skills. Additionally, it highlights my proficiency in various design tools and methodologies, reflecting a well-rounded approach to design development.

What inspired you to become a designer?

My passion for creativity, problem-solving, and making an impact has significantly inspired my journey to becoming a designer. Influential mentors and role models during my studies have also contributed to the direction of my designs and the knowledge I’ve gained along the way.

What does being awarded the CEP Student Prize mean to you?

Being awarded the CEP Student Prize is an immense honour and a significan

t milestone in my academic and professional journey. It not only validates the hard work and dedication I’ve put into my studies but also recognises my commitment to excellence and innovation in my field. This award motivates me to continue striving for high standards in my work and serves as a powerful encouragement to keep pushing the boundaries of my capabilities. Additionally, it has given me a sense of accomplishment and inspires confidence in my future endeavours as a designer.
