We are now pleased to say that our members can access a comprehensive range of insurance products and services to meet their requirements through our partnership with McParland Finn Ltd insurance brokers.

In addition to preferential rates and payment terms, members can also get initial advice, an audit of protection requirements based on their design profile, and a design-savvy professional service.

Professional Indemnity (PI) cover is perhaps the single most important insurance protection for a professional in any sector. It can cover you for the legal costs and expenses in defending a claim if you are alleged to have provided inadequate advice, services or designs to a client.

We recommend that all our members carry adequate PI cover, and Chartered Designers must have this to maintain their chartered status.
